Bristleback + Pudge

Why this works

Putting pressure on the map relies on a simple ganking pattern. When Pudge lands a Meat Hook, the target arrives right where Bristleback wants them. The heavy slows from Rot and Viscous Nasal Goo stack, making it extremely difficult for the enemy to retreat while Bristleback builds up Quill Spray damage. Pudge's Dismember offers a long-duration hold to lock down slippery targets, giving Bristleback all the time he needs to secure the kill. This sequence offers a direct, if straightforward, way to get a pickoff and force an objective.

The success of this duo hinges almost entirely on Pudge's ability to land key hooks, as they offer little else to each other. Opponents will play around vision and stay behind creeps to nullify the threat. While both heroes are durable and want to be in the middle of fights, they don't provide much crowd control for the team beyond their slows and Dismember. If their early aggression doesn't translate into a lead, the Bristleback and Pudge combination can be out-maneuvered by teams with more reliable initiation or better late-game scaling.
