How Broodmother and Dark Willow perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Broodmother and Dark Willow win 50.65% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 6,237 matches.
The idea of holding a hero in place for Broodmother's spiderlings seems appealing, but Dark Willow and Broodmother often operate on conflicting timelines. Broodmother wants to isolate a lane, farm aggressively, and force the enemy to react to her push. Dark Willow, on the other hand, excels in teamfight scenarios where she can chain her control spells with her allies' damage. While Cursed Crown can set up a target, Broodmother's army provides sustained pressure, not the immediate burst needed to capitalize on a short stun. They end up playing separate games more often than not, rarely providing what the other truly needs to thrive.
