Broodmother + Faceless Void

Why this works

Picking these two heroes together creates a strategic choice for your team. The core synergy is straightforward: Faceless Void lands a Chronosphere, and Broodmother floods it with herself and her spider army for a quick kill. The problem is their preferred playstyles often clash. Broodmother wants to take over a section of the map with her webs, constantly pressuring towers and farming the enemy jungle. Faceless Void, on the other hand, typically needs space to farm his own items and prefers to fight only when Chronosphere is ready. This means they are often playing on opposite sides of the map, unable to directly assist each other.

This tension defines the game. For much of the early and mid-game, Broodmother makes space while Faceless Void uses it, but they don't combine for kills. Later on, a well-coordinated Chronosphere with Brood's full army can delete any hero. The success of the pairing depends entirely on whether they can sync up for these key moments. If the enemy can split them up or survive the Chronosphere burst, the draft feels disconnected. If Void and Broodmother manage to be in the same place at the right time, they can secure the objectives needed to close out the game.
