Broodmother + Jakiro

Why this works

Setting up a fight with Jakiro's spells often relies on other heroes providing a solid lockdown to hold enemies in place. Broodmother's main contribution here is a swarm of Spiderlings, which can bodyblock and slow, but they don't offer the reliable stun needed to guarantee a full-duration Macropyre or a multi-hero Ice Path. While slows from both heroes can stack up, enemies are often mobile enough to walk out of the fire, leaving Jakiro's biggest spells feeling a bit wasted. The two heroes control space in different ways that don't always overlap effectively.

This dynamic leads to a game plan that can feel disconnected. Broodmother excels at taking over a section of the map and forcing reactions, often playing far away from her team. Jakiro, on the other hand, provides classic teamfight control and wants to group up to push towers. This can pull the team in two different directions. Either Jakiro is trying to play around a split-pushing Brood and finds himself out of position, or Brood is forced into five-on-five fights where her spiders can be easily cleared, limiting her ability to run down key targets.
