Broodmother + Techies

Why this works

Pushing a lane with spiderlings becomes a much safer proposition. Broodmother can spin her webs to take over a section of the map, and Techies can then fortify the entry points with Proximity Mines. This setup creates a dangerous zone for any enemy wanting to contest her. Instead of simply walking in to clear spiders, they first have to deal with the threat of explosives. A well-placed Sticky Bomb from Techies can also slow a retreating target, making them easy prey for Broodmother's swarm.

This duo's strategy often involves locking down one lane and the adjacent jungle, allowing Broodmother to accelerate her farm and pressure towers. The opposing team is forced to respond with detection and coordinated movements to avoid feeding kills while trying to contest the push. This can create space for the rest of your team. However, a smart opponent might recognize the static nature of this defense and simply apply pressure on the opposite side of the map, forcing Broodmother and Techies out of their fortified area.
