Broodmother + Undying

Why this works

Thinking that a horde of spiders plus a Tombstone full of zombies is an unbeatable swarm is a common trap. The two heroes actually create different kinds of pressure. Undying wants the enemy team to stand and fight him head-on, letting his Decay and zombies slowly drain them. Broodmother, on the other hand, excels at isolating a target and running them down in her webs or split-pushing towers with her spiderlings. Their methods for overwhelming the enemy don't always overlap in a single fight, as one encourages brawling while the other prefers chasing or avoiding fights entirely.

This often leads to two different game plans. Undying is looking for that big five-on-five commitment where he can drop Tombstone and turn the tide. Meanwhile, Broodmother is frequently happiest taking over a side lane, forcing the enemy to respond to her and creating space elsewhere. For them to really click, the game needs to become a prolonged brawl inside Brood's web network, where the slows from zombies can help her spiders stick to targets. Since that specific scenario isn't guaranteed, their success together feels more conditional than consistent.
