How Broodmother and Ursa perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Broodmother and Ursa win 49.42% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 7,286 matches.
Committing to both Broodmother and Ursa in a draft forces your team into a very specific and predictable physical damage plan. Both cores want to snowball through the mid-game and control the map, but their methods clash. Broodmother wants to own a section of the map with her webs, while Ursa needs to be mobile to hunt for kills and secure Roshan. This often leaves them playing separate games instead of working together. Worse, since both rely on physical burst, opponents can buy a single set of items like armor or a Heaven's Halberd to effectively counter your team's entire damage output, stalling both heroes out.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
