Centaur Warrunner + Ursa

Why this works

Using Stampede to get Ursa on a target sounds strong, but the heroes' kits can have some awkward overlap. Ursa already brings a slow with Earthshock, and he usually buys his own mobility to get into fights. Centaur Warrunner can follow up with Hoof Stomp, but he needs to be right on top of the enemy to land it, which is the same problem Ursa is trying to solve in the first place. The lockdown doesn't chain together as smoothly as it does with other initiators, as both heroes are competing for the same melee space to be effective.

This pairing leads to a very direct, all-in game plan that can be predictable. The goal is to run at a single target and burst them down before moving to the next. Enemy teams with good kiting tools, saves like Force Staff, or Ghost Scepters can often neutralize the aggression from both Centaur Warrunner and Ursa. Because both heroes are primarily physical damage brawlers, they lack a backup plan or a different type of threat if the initial charge gets stalled out, making the combination less flexible than it appears.
