Centaur Warrunner + Windranger

Why this works

Setting up a two-hero gank with Stampede can be surprisingly awkward for this pair. In theory, Centaur Warrunner closes the distance for the team, creating an opportunity for Windranger to land a key Shackleshot. In practice, the chaos of a full-speed charge often makes it harder for her to find a good angle. Centaur wants to run into the middle of the enemy and use Hoof Stomp on a clumped group, while Windranger is trying to line up a single target with a tree or another hero from the side. These two approaches to starting a fight don't always align, leading to hesitant initiations where neither hero gets their ideal setup.

This disconnect means they often operate on separate plans. During the mid-game, a successful gank relies almost entirely on Windranger landing her stun, as Centaur's initial burst isn't always enough to secure a kill alone. If she misses, the play falls apart, and Centaur is left deep in enemy territory without a clear target. They lack a strong, shared power spike and don't amplify each other's strengths effectively. While both are capable heroes, they don't combine to create something greater; instead, they often feel like they're getting in each other's way.
