How Chaos Knight and Dark Willow perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Chaos Knight and Dark Willow win 51.15% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 14,230 matches.
Picking these two heroes together is a bet on their lockdowns syncing up perfectly. A successful Cursed Crown from Dark Willow can set up an easy Reality Rift and Chaos Bolt, letting Chaos Knight and his illusions delete a target. The problem is that their other abilities don't always align. Terrorize might send enemies running away from the Phantasms, not into them. For Dark Willow to add her own damage with Bedlam, she has to play dangerously close to the fight. Without a way for Chaos Knight to peel for her, the whole sequence can fall apart if the enemy team reacts quickly, leading to very mixed results from one fight to the next.
