Chaos Knight + Disruptor

Why this works

Glimpsing an enemy back into a fight can give Chaos Knight the opening he needs. Once the target is returning, CK can position himself for a Reality Rift and Chaos Bolt to begin the lockdown. If Disruptor can then trap that same hero inside a Kinetic Field and Static Storm, it creates an area where CK's Phantasm illusions can deal their damage without the target being able to easily cast spells or run away. The combo requires some timing to execute properly, but the basic idea is to use Disruptor's spells to hold one person still for Chaos Knight to burst down.

This pairing is strongest when looking for pickoffs around the map, but it relies on both heroes being in the right place at the right time. If Chaos Knight is busy farming for a key item, a good Glimpse opportunity from Disruptor might go unanswered. The whole strategy is also very focused on a single target. Coordinated enemy teams can save the focused hero, or they can purchase items like a Black King Bar which allows them to ignore most of Disruptor's control and survive Chaos Knight's initial assault.
