Chaos Knight + Nature's Prophet

Why this works

Playing for map control often puts these two cores at odds. Nature's Prophet excels at farming across the map with Teleportation, pushing out lanes and taking jungle camps that Chaos Knight needs to hit his own item timings. While Prophet is generating pressure, CK is a hero who farms relatively slowly and wants to consolidate resources, not see them spread thin. Their fundamental approaches clash: Chaos Knight wants to group up and brute-force objectives with Phantasm, while Nature's Prophet naturally wants to split the map and avoid direct teamfights.

This leads to a disjointed mid-game. Chaos Knight will have his ultimate ready and look for a fight, only to find his team fighting at a disadvantage because Nature's Prophet is pushing a distant lane. For this pair to succeed, Prophet must use his global mobility to join CK's initiations perfectly, catching targets in Sprout for a Chaos Bolt. More often, the enemy team can force a fight on one hero while the other is too far away to help, picking them apart and taking objectives before the split-push becomes a real threat.
