Why this works
Protecting a Morphling in the safelane usually means having a support who can zone enemies without pushing the lane. Chen's playstyle, built around his creep army, naturally shoves the wave and puts Morphling in a dangerous spot away from his tower. Their timings are also completely opposed; Chen wants to group up and pressure towers early, while Morphling needs a lot of space and time to farm key items.
