Why this works
Pushing in the mid-game can feel disjointed with this pairing. Chen wants to gather his persuaded creeps and force objectives early, which is his strongest timing. Wraith King, however, usually needs more farm before he can confidently frontline and hit buildings. This creates a tempo clash where Chen’s aggression can fizzle out while waiting for his carry to come online. If the game stalls out, their goals can align. A farmed Wraith King with Reincarnation is a great anchor for a siege, and having a global Hand of God to top him off after he revives makes for a frustratingly durable core to finally take down.
