Why this works

Constant mana from Arcane Aura lets Leshrac spam his spells to farm the jungle and push lanes much earlier and more often. This can accelerate his item timings, letting him hit the ground running and start applying pressure across the map sooner than usual. The main issue with this pairing is that it creates an incredibly fragile backline. Both Crystal Maiden and Leshrac are very easy to kill when focused, and neither has a reliable way to save themselves or their partner from coordinated aggression. They double down on damage and control but offer almost nothing in terms of survivability.

This dynamic often results in a race. If Leshrac can use the early mana advantage to build a significant lead, he can become a powerful frontliner who creates space for Crystal Maiden to use her spells safely from the back. However, an aware enemy team will identify this shared weakness and draft heroes that can dive and burst them. The game then hinges on whether the opponents can successfully punish this greedy pairing before Leshrac's accelerated farm takes over, making the outcome feel very dependent on the specific drafts and early-game execution from both sides.
