Dark Seer + Queen of Pain

Why this works

Putting Ion Shell on Queen of Pain often feels like a waste. Her game plan is to Blink in, unload her spells, and get out safely; she doesn't want to linger in the middle of the enemy team where the shell gets its value. Dark Seer's Vacuum setup also has less impact. Scream of Pain already hits a wide area, and Sonic Wave is a long-range blast that doesn't need enemies to be clumped up in a perfect ball. Their kits simply don't offer each other much help.

This disconnect means they struggle to control the pace of the game. Queen of Pain wants to create pickoffs and pressure the map with her mobility, while Dark Seer is looking to set up bigger, five-on-five engagements. Fights can feel fractured, with Dark Seer trying to orchestrate a frontline brawl while QoP is off chasing a support. Without a shared plan for teamfights, it becomes hard for them to convert kills into objectives, often leading to stalemates where the enemy can recover and punish their lack of coordination.
