Dark Seer + Slark

Why this works

Getting pounced on by a Slark that also has Surge is a tough spot for most heroes. The extra speed from Dark Seer makes it nearly impossible to break the leash, and an Ion Shell on top means you're taking constant damage even if Slark isn't hitting you. This combination allows Slark to stick to targets much more reliably during ganks and early fights, securing kills that he might otherwise miss. It essentially guarantees that once Slark finds a good opening, his target isn't getting away without help.

This duo aims to accelerate Slark's farm by turning him into a more potent mid-game ganker. Dark Seer enables him to run down heroes across the map, building up Essence Shift stacks and snowballing toward the late game. The enemy team's main response is to group up to avoid isolation and punish the single-target nature of the gank. While Dark Seer can use Vacuum to set up teamfights, Slark often prefers picking off stragglers on the edge, so their big teamfight potential isn't always perfectly aligned. The pairing creates map pressure, but doesn't automatically win five-on-five engagements.
