How Dark Willow and Dawnbreaker perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Dark Willow and Dawnbreaker win 51.56% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 27,276 matches.
Pairing a support Dark Willow with a core often means finding someone to help her land her delayed spells, and Dawnbreaker is a solid candidate. A well-placed Starbreaker can hold an enemy in place long enough for Cursed Crown to pop, creating a reliable lockdown chain in the lane. In return, Dark Willow's Bramble Maze or even Terrorize can isolate targets for Dawnbreaker to hammer down. The synergy scales well into the mid-game, as Dawnbreaker's Solar Guardian provides the perfect initiation stun for Willow to follow up with her full magical burst. Dawnbreaker brings the frontline presence Willow lacks, while Dark Willow provides the control needed to secure kills.
