Dark Willow + Faceless Void

Why this works

Getting caught by Chronosphere is always a problem, but seeing Dark Willow as the main follow-up is less threatening than many other supports. Her primary damage source, Bedlam, requires her to get dangerously close, while her other spells are often awkward. Cursed Crown’s delayed stun is redundant on a target already frozen in time. More importantly, Terrorize actively works against Faceless Void’s plan by scattering enemies he wants to group up and trap, making it much harder to land a high-impact ultimate.

Throughout a match, this lack of coordination becomes clear. Faceless Void might trap the perfect targets, but Dark Willow struggles to contribute safely from a distance, unlike typical Chronosphere partners. She is often forced to use her spells on enemies outside the sphere, splitting the team's focus. While a Cursed Crown can set up an initial pick-off, their teamfight ultimates don't complement each other. One wants to lock enemies in place, while the other wants to make them run away, leaving Void to do most of the work himself.
