Setting up a perfect Duel is the main idea here. Dark Willow's Cursed Crown gives Legion Commander a clear window to blink in and start the fight. The delayed stun guarantees the target is locked down right when Duel begins, preventing them from reacting. Dark Willow can then add a huge amount of damage with Bedlam, helping secure the Duel victory and the bonus damage before the enemy team can respond. Bramble Maze can also trap the Duel target or zone out anyone trying to help them, making the pick-off even more reliable.

This plan demands solid coordination. If Dark Willow is too far away or gets focused herself, Legion Commander is left alone in a risky Duel. The combo is also very predictable once the Cursed Crown appears, giving opponents a few seconds to reposition or prepare a counter-gank. A successful gank snowballs Legion's damage, but a failed one can easily feed a kill and swing momentum the other way. The outcome of these high-commitment plays often decides whether the pairing feels effective or awkward from game to game.
