Dark Willow + Tiny

Why this works

Setting up a kill with this pair can be surprisingly clumsy. Tiny’s classic Avalanche into Toss combo often works against Dark Willow’s strengths. When Tiny throws the target, it can move them right out of Bedlam's limited range, completely wasting her damage. The same Toss can also pull an enemy out of a well-placed Bramble Maze, freeing them from the roots and letting them escape what should have been an easy kill. The core initiation spells of these two heroes actively fight for control over the enemy's position.

This conflict makes ganks and fights awkward all game. Dark Willow wants to pin enemies down for her spells and her team's follow-up, while Tiny is built to displace and isolate targets. The result is often a split focus where one hero's contribution is accidentally negated by the other. An enemy who gets Tossed might survive simply because they land too far from Dark Willow to be finished off. A coordinated opponent can exploit this by punishing the hero left behind or saving the one who gets thrown.
