Dark Willow + Windranger

Why this works

Trying to coordinate a kill with this duo can feel clunky. Dark Willow’s Cursed Crown has a delay that makes it difficult to layer cleanly with Windranger's instantaneous Shackleshot, often resulting in wasted duration or gaps where the target can escape. While Bramble Maze provides a decent setup for landing the shackle, both heroes are fragile and lack the combined early burst to consistently finish off a target. Their damage and control don't combine into one clean, overwhelming sequence without significant item investment.

The broader problem is that both Dark Willow and Windranger want to fill a similar role. They are both greedy, playmaking heroes who need levels and farm to be effective, but they lack the tools to create that farm for themselves or each other. When they share a team, they end up competing for the same limited resources available to supports. This often leads to one or both heroes falling behind, leaving the team with an under-farmed support who can't contribute effectively when fights break out.
