Dawnbreaker + Lina

Why this works

Setting up a kill from across the map is the main idea here. Dawnbreaker’s Solar Guardian provides a stun upon landing, giving Lina an easy window to place Light Strike Array and follow up with her full damage combo. The target is held in place for the full duration, making it much easier to secure a burst kill that might otherwise be difficult. The reverse also works; Lina can use her own stun to hold a target still, ensuring Dawnbreaker’s ultimate lands on a priority hero without them simply walking away.

This game plan revolves entirely around converting those ultimate cooldowns into kills and objectives. Aware opponents will play cautiously, grouping up to make single-target ganks difficult and to punish Dawnbreaker's landing. The success of this pairing often hinges on whether they can find isolated heroes early on. If they manage a few successful ganks, Lina's damage can snowball and the threat becomes much more real. If the enemy plays safe and weathers the initial timings, the synergy offers much less throughout the mid and late game.
