Dawnbreaker + Lion

Why this works

Catching a hero alone becomes much easier with this pairing. Lion provides the initial lockdown with Earth Spike or Hex, giving Dawnbreaker a stationary target for her Celestial Hammer and Starbreaker combo. The chain of disables is long enough to guarantee a lot of damage. This works from anywhere on the map once Solar Guardian is available; a simple gank attempt from Lion can instantly escalate as Dawnbreaker flies in, stunning and healing on arrival. The target is essentially helpless for the duration.

The threat of this global combo forces opponents to play safer and stick together. They can't split push or farm aggressively without vision of Lion, making it harder for them to control the map. To counter it, enemies need to either burst Lion down before he can cast his spells or have save items like Glimmer Cape ready for whoever gets caught. In larger teamfights, Dawnbreaker and Lion can coordinate to delete an important core before they can use Black King Bar, creating an immediate advantage.
