Dawnbreaker + Techies

Why this works

Landing Solar Guardian on an ally creates a perfect kill zone for Techies. He can prepare the landing spot with Proximity Mines or, more reliably, time his own Blast Off! to land at the exact same moment. This combination layers a long stun with a silence and a massive amount of coordinated magic damage. The initial lockdown from Dawnbreaker guarantees that Techies can land his spells, securing a kill on almost any hero caught out of position. Even a simple Sticky Bomb becomes a guaranteed hit, adding slow and damage to an already lethal initiation.

This global ganking potential defines the partnership. The enemy team has to play with constant respect for a fight breaking out anywhere, as Dawnbreaker can turn it into an uneven engagement with Techies' help from afar. Their goal becomes trying to cancel Solar Guardian before it completes or having enough saves to survive the initial burst. Meanwhile, the Dawnbreaker player can confidently join fights or save allies, knowing that the arrival will be amplified by Techies' high-damage toolkit, turning defensive plays into offensive counters.
