Dawnbreaker + Tiny

Why this works

Tossing an enemy into a Solar Guardian setup sounds great on paper, but Tiny's abilities often work against Dawnbreaker's. The landing zone for Dawnbreaker's ultimate is a fixed area, and an ill-timed Toss can easily move the target to safety, wasting the stun and damage. This same conflict applies to Starbreaker. Dawnbreaker needs her targets to stay close to land the full combo, while Tiny’s core pattern with Avalanche and Toss is all about displacing enemies. The fundamental problem is that one hero wants to hold enemies in place while the other wants to throw them around.

As the game moves into teamfights, this disconnect becomes a real liability. The Tiny player is forced to be extremely careful, often holding Toss until after Dawnbreaker has committed her spells, which feels clunky and limits Tiny’s own impact. For her part, Dawnbreaker can't rely on Tiny for clean setups and often has to use her ultimate to join a fight late rather than to initiate it. They end up as two strong heroes fighting near each other, but their kits actively prevent them from building momentum together, leading to disorganized and ineffective engagements.
