Dazzle + Sand King

Why this works

Picking these two heroes together creates a very straightforward teamfight plan. The main idea is for Sand King to channel Epicenter, and for Dazzle to use Shallow Grave to guarantee he survives to deliver it in the enemy's face. Burrowstrike also gives Dazzle a nice setup to land his own spells. The components for a successful fight are there, and the execution is easy to understand. However, the interaction doesn't go much deeper. Dazzle's kit is built around physical damage and sustain, while Sand King is focused on magical burst and initiation.

This leads to teamfights that often depend on that one big moment. If the enemy team can catch and kill Sand King before Shallow Grave comes out, or if they have enough mobility to simply kite the Epicenter, the whole plan collapses. The core issue is that their abilities don't directly amplify each other. Dazzle's ultimate reduces armor, which does nothing to boost the magic damage from Sand King's Epicenter. They enable a specific play, but they don't make each other fundamentally more powerful across the course of a fight.
