Dazzle + Silencer

Why this works

Keeping Silencer alive through the initial jump is the main goal here. Dazzle’s Shallow Grave is perfect for that, giving Silencer the extra few seconds he needs to survive a gank and use his own spells, maybe even turn the fight with Global Silence. In return, that global silence can stop an enemy team from bursting through a Graved ally, ensuring Dazzle's save isn't wasted. The problem is that neither hero provides a hard lockdown. Lacking a stun, they can struggle to hold a target in place, allowing enemies with mobility or dispel items to escape the combined pressure from Poison Touch and Arcane Curse.

The success of this duo often depends on the tempo of the game. In slower, more prolonged teamfights, Dazzle’s healing and Silencer’s constant spellcasting can grind down opponents. They can set the terms of an engagement and win by outlasting the other team. However, against lineups with high burst damage and multiple gap-closers, both heroes can be overwhelmed before they can establish control. If the enemy can get on top of them and kill them quickly, their potential synergy never gets a chance to come online.
