Dazzle + Slardar

Why this works

Trying to focus down an aggressive Slardar feels difficult when Dazzle is backing him up. Shallow Grave allows Slardar to survive what should be lethal focus fire, extending his time in the fight to land stuns and apply Corrosive Haze. With the target's armor stripped away, even Dazzle's attacks and Poison Touch start to add up to real damage. This combination turns a standard gank into a much deadlier engagement, pinning a target down with slows while they take heavy physical punishment from a hero who refuses to die.

The success of this duo often depends on Slardar landing a clean initiation, usually with a Blink Dagger. When he finds the right target, Dazzle's support makes securing the kill straightforward. The strategy is predictable, though. Smart opponents will learn to anticipate the Shallow Grave and may try to ignore Slardar to dive the much more fragile Dazzle first. A timely silence on Dazzle also shuts down the entire defensive aspect of their plan, leaving Slardar exposed. The game becomes a contest of positioning and who can disable the other's key hero first.
