Dazzle + Ursa

Why this works

Securing Roshan or bursting a key hero is central to Ursa's game, but this pairing doesn't directly accelerate those goals. Ursa wants to unload his damage as fast as possible with Overpower, while Dazzle's kit is built for extending fights and outlasting enemy damage with Shallow Grave and heals. This creates a slight mismatch in tempo. While a clutch Grave can save a diving Ursa, Dazzle lacks the hard lockdown needed to guarantee Ursa can stay on a mobile target and build his Fury Swipes stacks. The slow from Poison Touch helps, but it’s not the same as a stun that enables the kill.

This dynamic often results in a lane that is durable but may lack explosive kill threat. Dazzle can keep Ursa healthy to trade and farm, but setting up a kill falls entirely on the Ursa player capitalizing on an enemy mistake. Later in the game, the responsibility for initiation and lockdown shifts to other teammates, forcing Dazzle into a purely reactive, defensive role. The pair can feel reliant on opponents overextending rather than being able to proactively force plays, which can slow down Ursa’s typical mid-game dominance.
