Dazzle + Viper

Why this works

Playing these two together can feel a bit one-dimensional. The core issue is that their abilities don't build on each other effectively. Viper's main damage is magical and spread out over time, which gets very little benefit from Dazzle's Bad Juju armor reduction. While Shallow Grave can certainly keep Viper alive, he doesn't have the kind of explosive damage output that makes those few seconds of invulnerability game-winning. Dazzle's kit is often better suited for enabling a hard-hitting physical carry who can truly capitalize on the armor shred and the extra time to attack.

The lane itself can feel strong; stacking Poison Attack and Poison Touch makes trading difficult for any opponent. But as the game progresses, the pair lacks the tools to force the issue. They have plenty of slows but no hard lockdown to secure kills on mobile heroes. This allows enemies to dictate the pace of fights, either kiting the slow-moving Viper or bursting Dazzle in the backline. Without a strong initiator or a second damage source to complement Viper, the strategy can stall out and struggle to close games.
