Death Prophet + Techies

Why this works

Pushing down a lane together can feel awkward. Death Prophet wants to activate Exorcism and run at the enemy team and their towers, creating a big moving threat. Techies, on the other hand, excels at locking down a specific area with Proximity Mines. When Death Prophet moves forward to apply pressure, she often leaves the safety of Techies' mine stacks behind. This forces Techies to choose between abandoning his setup to follow up with a Blast Off! or leaving Death Prophet to fend for herself. Their approaches to map control don't always align.

This separation means the pair can struggle to convert fights into objectives. After an Exorcism push, Death Prophet may lack the area control to hold her ground, while Techies has a secure area but no one to push out from it. For the lineup to function, Techies has to play a more aggressive, forward game with Blast Off! to initiate fights. At the same time, Death Prophet might need to play more cautiously, trying to lure enemies into mines instead of leading the charge, which can slow down her own tempo.
