Death Prophet + Windranger

Why this works

Trying to take a teamfight, both these heroes want to accomplish similar things but lack the tools to help each other. Windranger needs a specific setup to land a good Shackleshot and unload Focus Fire on a single stunned target. Death Prophet wants to run at the enemy team with Exorcism, using her Silence to prevent lockdown. The problem is that Windranger’s stun doesn’t group enemies for DP, and DP’s silence doesn’t hold anyone in place for Windranger. They both bring a lot of damage, but their control spells don't combine well, leading to disjointed fights.

This duo often feels like it's missing a key piece. They hit power spikes around the same time, but their combined pressure lacks a reliable initiator. An enemy team can often split up, kite the Exorcism, and burst down whichever hero overextends. To make it work, Windranger and Death Prophet have to rely on another ally providing the big area-of-effect stun they both need to function. Without that perfect setup from a third hero, they're often unable to dictate the pace of a fight and secure clean objectives together.
