Disruptor + Morphling

Why this works

Coordinating a kill on a single target can feel awkward for this pair. Morphling wants to get on top of an enemy and unload his burst damage, but Disruptor's Glimpse often pulls that target back to safety, away from the fight. This forces Morphling to either overextend with Waveform just to re-engage or abandon the kill entirely. While Static Storm and Kinetic Field are powerful teamfight spells, they provide area control, which isn't the direct, single-target lockdown that best enables a Morphling to secure a quick kill and snowball.

This dynamic often leads to a more passive laning phase, where securing the kills Morphling needs to get ahead is difficult. Instead of setting up easy ganks, Disruptor excels at counter-initiation and punishing poor positioning, which relies more on the enemy making a mistake. Later in the game, even inside a perfect Static Storm, Morphling still has to find his preferred target and can't contribute much damage to other enemies caught in the field. The result is a combination that lacks a clear, proactive game plan for getting their carry ahead.
