Disruptor + Nyx Assassin

Why this works

Setting up a gank with this pair can be effective. Nyx Assassin can scout with Vendetta and open with Impale, giving Disruptor a stationary target for an easy Kinetic Field and Static Storm. The other way around works too, with a good Glimpse bringing an enemy right back to where Nyx is waiting to pounce. The lockdown chain is solid, and few heroes can survive it if both are present. This provides a reliable way to get kills on isolated targets, especially during the mid-game when both heroes are actively roaming the map.

The issue is that their roles can sometimes compete. Both heroes want to be the one starting the fight. Nyx Assassin often prefers to operate alone, hunting for solo pickoffs, while Disruptor is usually looking to make plays with a core nearby. They need active coordination to link up, as their natural game plans don't always overlap. In chaotic teamfights, their control can feel a little redundant rather than complementary. It's a functional duo for picking people off, but they don't amplify each other's strengths in a way that dramatically changes most games.
