Disruptor + Techies

Why this works

Setting up a Glimpse into a Techies minefield sounds strong, but the timing is difficult. Disruptor pulls a target back to a spot from a few seconds prior, and that exact location needs to have been predicted and mined by Techies in advance. Kinetic Field offers another way to trap enemies over mines, but Proximity Mines often have too long of an arm time to guarantee damage before the target can simply walk out of the area. The combination requires a level of coordination and prediction that is less reliable than what other hero pairings can achieve.

The game plan for this duo tends to be very defensive. Both Disruptor and Techies excel at controlling a section of the map, punishing enemies who walk into their pre-prepared zones. This makes them excellent at holding high ground or defending towers. The downside is that neither hero provides the team with a strong initiator or a durable frontline presence. If the rest of the draft doesn't bring that aggression, the team can struggle to push its advantages or initiate fights, leaving them to play a reactive game that depends entirely on enemy mistakes.
