Dragon Knight + Lion

Why this works

Locking down a single hero with Dragon Tail into Lion's stuns can feel effective, but there's a lot of overlap in what these two bring to a fight. Both heroes excel at disabling one target for a long time. While this is great for getting a pick-off, it means a lot of your team's control is invested in a single kill attempt. If the enemy has saves or Linken's Sphere, or if the rest of their team just turns on you, both Dragon Knight and Lion have committed their main tools to one spot and may not have much else to offer.

This dynamic often leads to a predictable game plan. Dragon Knight wants to group up and hit towers in Elder Dragon Form, and Lion wants to find initiation with his disables. The enemy team knows this is coming and can prepare by grouping as five or placing defensive vision. Without much area-of-effect control or ways to handle multiple threats, the duo can struggle against coordinated pushes or split-pushing strategies. They are very good at executing one specific plan, but can be left without options if that plan is countered.
