Why this works

Keeping enemies at a distance benefits both of these heroes. Drow Ranger’s Frost Arrows help create the space Enchantress needs to maximize the pure damage from her Impetus spears. In turn, Enchantress’s Untouchable passive punishes anyone who tries to right-click her, often forcing them to switch targets. When fighting together, Drow Ranger's Marksmanship provides bonus agility to Enchantress, increasing her attack speed and armor, which helps her survive and contribute more damage between Impetus casts. Gust also provides a crucial tool to disengage or interrupt spells, protecting them both.

The shared game plan is also a shared weakness. Both Drow Ranger and Enchantress are vulnerable to heroes who can quickly close the gap and apply burst damage, as neither has a reliable escape. A draft with this pair often lacks the hard lockdown needed to control mobile enemy cores. While their combined kiting power can dominate against slower, melee-focused lineups, they can feel fragile and ineffective against teams built to jump the backline. This makes their success very dependent on the enemy's draft, leading to an inconsistent pairing overall.
