Drow Ranger + Faceless Void

Why this works

Placing two farm-intensive cores on one team often creates a strain on the map's resources. Both Drow Ranger and Faceless Void need significant time and space to acquire their key items. This can lead to a passive game plan where your team gives up early objectives and map control. If the game doesn't go smoothly, one or both heroes can feel starved for farm and hit their timings much later than they'd like. The team's overall tempo can feel disjointed, waiting for two separate power spikes that might not align.

This difficult dynamic extends into teamfights. Faceless Void wants to lock enemies down with Chronosphere, but this can be awkward for Drow Ranger. If she gets caught in the spell, she can't contribute. More commonly, even if she's positioned outside, the enemies frozen inside the sphere are close enough to her to disable her Marksmanship. This cuts off a huge source of her damage right when it's needed most. While she can still attack into the ultimate, it doesn't set her up as well as it does for many other heroes.
