Drow Ranger + Marci

Why this works

Giving Sidekick to Drow Ranger for the extra damage and lifesteal looks strong on paper. The problem is that Marci’s entire game plan revolves around diving into the enemy team. She wants to use Rebound to get on top of a target and start Unleash. Drow Ranger, on the other hand, needs to keep enemies at a distance to maintain her Marksmanship bonus and kite safely. Marci using Dispose can be chaotic; she might accidentally throw an enemy right on top of Drow, shutting off her primary damage source at the worst possible moment.

In the laning phase, the combination can work. Marci provides a reliable stun and kill threat that helps secure Drow's farm. Later on, the conflict becomes obvious. Fights often split into two parts: Marci creating chaos in the middle of the enemy, and Drow trying to shoot from the outside. If the enemy team is disorganized, they can get picked apart. But a coordinated team will often isolate one of them. The success of this duo relies entirely on perfect positioning and target choice, which is why their games can swing either way.
