Drow Ranger + Ringmaster

Why this works

Setting up a fight with Ringmaster's hypnotic pull can be awkward for Drow Ranger. While clumping enemies is good for a Multishot, it also brings them closer, which is often the last thing Drow wants. Her Marksmanship bonus depends on keeping enemies away, and her whole playstyle revolves around kiting with Frost Arrows. Ringmaster pulling multiple heroes into a pile can easily put them inside her minimum range, disabling her passive and making her an easy target once the control ends. The setup requires very specific positioning from Drow to work, otherwise it puts her in immediate danger.

Across the game, this means Drow Ranger often can't stand her ground and fully benefit from Ringmaster's control. In a perfect scenario, the pull catches enemies far away and she can clean up, but more often it creates a chaotic scramble that Drow isn't equipped to handle. A Drow lineup usually prefers a solid frontline that holds enemies at a specific distance, or other supports who add more slows and control from afar. Ringmaster's style of initiation forces a collapse, which can leave Drow exposed and unable to contribute her main source of damage.
