Drow Ranger + Silencer

Why this works

Fighting into this pair feels suffocating for spell-dependent heroes. Silencer can open with a Last Word or Global Silence, and right as it ends, Drow Ranger can follow up with Gust to extend the time enemies can't cast spells. This creates a long window for Drow to apply Frost Arrows and deal damage without fear of retaliation. Chaining these abilities together makes it very difficult for heroes with blink escapes or defensive spells to get away once they are targeted. Silencer's own damage from Glaives of Wisdom adds up during these silenced moments, helping to secure the kill.

The game plan has clear weaknesses, though. Neither Drow Ranger nor Silencer has a reliable stun, and both are quite fragile. If the enemy team can close the gap with heroes that don't rely on casting to do their work, they can burst Drow down before the chain-silence combo gets going. This duo is also vulnerable during the laning stage if faced with aggressive supports who can trade favorably. Their success really depends on keeping Drow safe until she can output her signature damage, and Silencer’s kit doesn't always provide the peel she needs against heavy physical lineups.
