Earthshaker + Nature's Prophet

Why this works

Playing around an Earthshaker means looking for a big teamfight where he can land a multi-hero Echo Slam. Nature's Prophet does the opposite; he uses Teleportation to push distant lanes and force the enemy team to split up and respond to him. This core conflict in strategy means Prophet is actively preventing the game state that Earthshaker needs to thrive. While Prophet's Sprout can trap a target, it rarely creates the large, clustered groups that turn a fight for Earthshaker, and their abilities don't combine especially well for ganks.

This usually results in Prophet pushing a lane alone while the rest of his team, including Earthshaker, tries to defend or posture while playing a hero short. It becomes very difficult to contest objectives or win skirmishes. The enemy team can choose to either repeatedly gank the isolated Nature's Prophet or use their full strength to push down a lane, knowing the defense is weakened. The fight Earthshaker is waiting for never happens, because the enemy isn't forced to group up against a split-pusher.
