Earthshaker + Grimstroke

Why this works

Pairing these two heroes often leads to thinking about a huge Soulbind combo, but the direct spell duplication isn't really there for Earthshaker's kit. The actual synergy is more general. Grimstroke’s Soulbind is still useful for holding two targets near each other, making them a perfect setup for a multi-hero Fissure or a more impactful Echo Slam. A well-timed Ink Swell can also be cast on an initiating Earthshaker, adding another layer of damage and stun to his Blink-Echo entry, which can be enough to secure a teamfight before the enemy can react.

This combination is quite dependent on Earthshaker getting his core items, especially Blink Dagger. Before that happens, the lanes can feel disconnected and lack pressure. Experienced opponents will recognize the threat and actively position themselves to avoid being tethered together by Soulbind, forcing you to find a different way to start a fight. While the duo provides a strong teamfight plan, it's not a guaranteed one. They both bring AoE control to the table, but they don't necessarily cover each other's weaknesses, making successful execution the deciding factor.
