Earthshaker + Marci

Why this works

Setting up a big teamfight can feel a bit awkward with this pair. Both Earthshaker and Marci bring a lot of lockdown, but their methods can conflict. Marci often wants to single out a target, using Dispose to throw them into her team. Earthshaker, on the other hand, excels at hitting multiple heroes at once with Fissure and Echo Slam. When Marci throws a key hero, it can move them out of the perfect spot for Shaker to land his spells, reducing the impact of his initiation. They both want to control the fight, but their styles don't always align.

This means their success often depends on who goes first. If Earthshaker lands a big stun, Marci can follow up effectively. But if Marci jumps in first, she might disrupt the perfect Fissure block or multi-hero Echo Slam setup. They end up competing for the same initiation role rather than creating a clean one-two punch. While they can chain stuns on a single target, this lack of seamless area-of-effect coordination means they often don't amplify each other as well as they could with other partners.
