Earthshaker + Night Stalker

Why this works

Ganking an isolated hero at night becomes incredibly simple. Earthshaker can open from range with a Fissure, giving Night Stalker all the time he needs to run in, land a Void, and start attacking. The long stun from Fissure is often followed by a slow and then a Crippling Fear, creating a lockdown chain that makes it almost impossible for the target to use spells or items to escape. This setup is reliable for picking off key heroes from the moment the first night begins.

This duo can take control of the map very early, forcing the enemy team to play passively and give up objectives. Later in the game, Night Stalker diving with Dark Ascension naturally forces opponents to group up to deal with him. This clumping provides the perfect setup for Earthshaker to land a devastating Echo Slam. To play against this, the enemy team needs exceptional vision and positioning, as getting caught by a Fissure or grouping up to fight Night Stalker can both lead to losing a teamfight.
