Earthshaker + Queen of Pain

Why this works

Finding early kills can feel a bit clunky with this pair. Queen of Pain wants to use her Blink to jump on a target and unload her damage with Scream of Pain and Sonic Wave. She doesn't offer a reliable stun to set someone up for Earthshaker, who also wants to use a Blink Dagger to find his own initiation. This often puts the entire burden of starting a fight on Earthshaker landing a perfect Fissure from the fog. It's a workable sequence, but it lacks the easy, layered control that lets both heroes unload their spells without risk.

This dynamic can slow the pace of the game down. Without an easy way to chain their abilities for kills, both Earthshaker and Queen of Pain may need to spend more time farming their core items before they can effectively fight together. An enemy team can exploit this by playing spread out, making it difficult for Earthshaker to land a big Echo Slam. The success of the duo often relies on another hero providing the lockdown Queen of Pain lacks, or on the enemy team grouping up carelessly, rather than on this pair's own natural synergy.
