Why this works

Setting up a kill with Fissure gives Silencer a clean target for Arcane Curse and a few free Glaives hits. In teamfights, the main interaction comes from their ultimates. A well-timed Global Silence as Earthshaker jumps in for an Echo Slam can leave the enemy team completely helpless, unable to cast spells to escape or counter-attack while they're stunned and taking damage. This creates a window for your team to clean up, but it depends on stacking two long-cooldown abilities for one fight, which can be a risky investment if it doesn't pay off.

The success of this duo often hinges on specific timings. Earthshaker is looking for Blink Dagger initiations, while Silencer is often more focused on his own lane and scaling his intelligence. Their game plans don't always align perfectly until the mid-game. If the enemy team plays spread out, it becomes hard to find a game-winning Echo Slam. Both heroes bring powerful teamfight control, but they don't consistently amplify each other's core game plan. It's more like having two strong tools that can sometimes be used together, rather than a single cohesive strategy.
