Earthshaker + Snapfire

Why this works

Picking these two together isn't a default combo. The ideal play is an Earthshaker Fissure trapping targets for Snapfire's Mortimer Kisses from a safe distance. A well-timed Firesnap Cookie can also launch Earthshaker into the enemy team for a big Echo Slam. However, both heroes have delays on their key spells. A slightly off Fissure gives enemies enough time to walk out of the Kisses impacts. The stuns don't always chain smoothly, and a mistimed Cookie can easily push an enemy to safety or ruin Earthshaker's angle. The potential is there, but it requires solid coordination.

Throughout a match, this pair's success varies. A perfect Fissure from fog can set up a fight-winning ultimate from Snapfire. More often, the combo whiffs, leaving both heroes without their key spells. The pressure is on the Earthshaker to be precise and create the opening. If that initiation isn't there, Snapfire often has to use her Cookie defensively or try to find kills with her other spells, leaving the big combo unrealized. It's a partnership that requires more teamwork to be effective than many other pairings, which isn't always reliable.
