Ember Spirit + Nature's Prophet

Why this works

Forcing a gank with this duo often feels awkward. Nature's Prophet can use Sprout to trap a hero, which might help Ember Spirit land a Searing Chains, but it's not a reliable lockdown combination. Both heroes fundamentally want to do the same thing: apply pressure across the map and force the enemy to split up. Instead of creating a strong core pairing, you end up with two heroes competing for farm and space on the outer lanes. This redundancy usually leaves the team without a durable frontliner or a primary initiator, making it difficult to control the tempo of a fight.

As the game progresses, this lack of a solid core identity becomes a major problem. The enemy team can simply group up and run at your towers, knowing your lineup struggles to take a straight-up five-on-five engagement. While Ember Spirit and Nature's Prophet can try to split-push and trade objectives, this strategy is easily countered by coordinated teams. Your side is forced into a reactive posture, constantly scrambling to defend while your two most mobile heroes are elsewhere. This often leads to giving up map control and being slowly choked out.
